Additionally, periodic visits are organized to the Units in which other aspects are observed directly. Sanitary material is checked to ensure that it has been accredited by the Kovacs Foundation for its specific purpose (which includes, for example, the kind of surgical material used in neuroreflexotherapy). These audits also ensure that the information the Unit transmits through the various mechanisms in effect coincides with the Unit's own records.
