THE KOVACS BACK UNITS
The Foundation has constituted the Kovacs
Back Units. They are multidisciplinary units specializing
in back disorders, in which all treatments-and only such treatments--
whose efficacy has been scientifically proven are applied.
Physicians in all specializations associated with the back
work in coordination on each specific case.
The Foundation sets itself the task of finding all the scientific
studies published throughout the world on back ailments and
analyzes their methodological quality, summarizing the results
of the reliable studies. Thus, it establishes common criteria
for action for all of its Back Units and guarantees that the
treatments applied are the most effective and up to date.
It also ensures that each patient, once minutely examined,
receives the safest and most effective treatment for his or
her specific case.
